Like his partner, Joe grew up in the printing business, spending afternoons after school hanging around "the shop." After graduating from the Cornell University School of Engineering, Joe served short stints with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and the City of Yonkers before joining the family business in 1978.
Joe learned the business from the bottom up, starting with time spent "on the floor" in the prep, press, and bindery departments, while attending classes at the Printing Industries of Metropolitan NY (now known as AGC).
Later, while obtaining his MBA at New York University, Joe moved into the managerial side of the business. Starting as a production assistant, his responsibilies eventually expanded to include cost accounting, estimating, information systems management, and financial reporting.
Today Joe's responsibilities include overseeing the scheduling of all print production, estimating, and financial reporting. He lives in Hastings-on-Hudson with his wife and two children.
