Amy joined the King team in 1968, just when the company really had begun to grow. Hired initially as the bookkeeper, it soon became clear that her job would include much more. Together with Flo, her sister and office manager, Amy established a professional office system for King for the first time in its relatively brief existence.

And besides handling all aspects of office work, Amy and Flo were often called upon for important production tasks, such as proofreading and hand collating jobs. Amy is now King’s Comptroller, scheduling payables, managing accounting information systems, and watching the bottom line.

Amy says that “it has been hard work, exciting and also fun,” to be part of the evolution of King from local printer to the prominent communications provider it has become today.

On the personal side, Amy is an active member of her church and several community organizations. She enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends - and watching baseball, especially her beloved Yankees.
